2 big asteroid 2023 MQ and Asteroid 2023 MU size 170 foot coming towards earth speed 50305 km per hour nasa jpl latest asteroid update

These days, the Earth is in constant danger from the asteroids hovering around the Sun in space. A large number of asteroids are present in the solar system, in which rocky pieces ranging from 500 feet to several kilometers are constantly passing around the Earth. Asteroids are made of minerals and rocks. These are solid but bumpy in shape. Recently, asteroids as large as 1600 feet have passed by the Earth. It was fortunate that they passed at a safe distance. But if an asteroid starts falling on Earth, it can cause huge destruction. Two more asteroids are moving towards the Earth with the threat of similar destruction. Very soon they will be very close to the Earth. Let us know how dangerous these can be for the earth.

When an asteroid starts coming closer to the Earth than a safe distance, it is tracked. NASA for asteroid tracking Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), which continuously keeps an eye on asteroids. JPL has said that now the threat of two more asteroids is moving towards the Earth. Both these asteroids are going to reach very close to the Earth in the next 24 hours.

An alert has been issued by NASA regarding Asteroid 2023 MQ and Asteroid 2023 MU. Asteroid 2023 MQ is said to be a 35 feet asteroid. It can be compared to a bus. This bus-sized asteroid is going to pass near the Earth at a distance of just 11 lakh 70 thousand kilometers. It is very small in size, hence it does not pose any kind of threat to the Earth, nor is there any possibility of its collision.

Asteroid 2023 MU will also be near the Earth in the next 24 hours. This is a 170 feet asteroid which is as big as an airplane. It is going to pass near the Earth at a distance of 7,070,000 kilometers. According to NASA, an asteroid measuring 150 feet or more in size can pose a threat to the Earth. However, NASA has not expressed any such threat from asteroid 2023 MU. According to NASA, 16000 asteroids are present in and around the Earth. NASA also calls them near earth objects, that is, such celestial bodies, which are continuously hovering around the earth. Out of these 16 thousand asteroids, NASA has declared 1784 asteroids as potentially dangerous for the Earth.
