23 Million Bad Content Removed From Facebook Instagram in India by Meta Heres All Details of Montly Compliance Report
Monthly Compliance issued by Meta for India Report It says that the company removed 18 million out of 23 million pieces of content (photos, videos, posts, comments) from Facebook alone. Talking about the exact number given by the company, in the month of November, Meta removed 1,83,42,800 pieces of content from Facebook.
Meta says that between November 1 and 30, it received 21,149 reports through its Indian Grievances Mechanism and the company responded to 100% of them. The largest number of reports were for account hacking, fake profiles, inappropriate or abusive content, and bullying or harassment.
Similarly, Instagram removed 46,95,700 pieces of content during the stated timeframe. The largest number of these were related to suicide or self-injury, adult nudity and sexual activity, violent and graphic content, bullying and harassment.
The platform received a total of 11,138 reports, of which 4,209 users were provided with problem resolution tools that allowed users to resolve their issues on their own.
Most of the complaints received by Instagram were regarding account hacking, fake profiles, losing access to page or account, threats or harassment.
Let us tell you that Meta’s October report states that the company had removed 37 million bad content within a month, which shows a significant decline on a monthly basis.
