This is an HD video, captured between March 2022 and March 2023.

The video was captured on the International Space Station (ISS) during Expeditions 67 and 68. In the video, the Earth can be seen from a completely different angle. Watching the video shows that the Earth has been filmed from the cameras of the International Space Station, in which our cities are visible glowing at night.

It is noteworthy that the International Space Station revolves around the Earth 400 kilometers above the Earth. That means this video would also have been taken from a similar height. Earlier in March also, NASA had shared a picture of the Earth glowing at night. NASA had told that the picture is 7 years old. The photo was shared on Instagram. In it the outer part of the earth was visible in light blue light. The lights of cities in Europe and North Africa were seen glowing.

NASA had told that it had prepared the picture with composite technology. In this technique, the best cloud free nights are selected every month. Quoting former NASA scientist, Miguel Roman, the space agency had said that storms, clouds etc. can be monitored using this data.

After NASA’s picture, Indian Space Agency ISRO also shared pictures of Earth. Pictures were taken with the help of Earth Observation Satellite (EOS-06). Every continent could be seen in it. ISRO had said that it prepared the pictures after combining 2,939 images and processing 300GB of data. The space agency has said that these pictures provide information about global vegetation cover on land and oceans. The Ocean Color Monitor installed in the satellite can understand the Earth in detail.
