45000 galaxies in one Frame James Webb Space Telescope did wonders Know about this photo

James Webb Space Telescope is the largest telescope deployed in space. This telescope has shown unseen pictures of the universe to the world. The telescope has captured another incredible image, in which 45 thousand galaxies are present in one frame. The area the telescope scanned is called GOODS-South. However, the picture of this area has come to light earlier also. The Hubble telescope, which has been in space for 30 years, had previously captured this area on camera.

University of Arizona Report According to JWST, the photo was taken under the Advanced Deep Extragalactic Survey program, or JADES. Under the program, in 32 days, those galaxies and stars which are located very far away will be captured in the camera. It is noteworthy that astronomers have been trying for a long time to understand how stars and galaxies were formed in the universe.

Professor Marcia Rieke at the university said that with this survey program we want to answer a lot of questions. Like how the early galaxies assembled themselves. How fast were the stars formed? Why did some galaxies stop forming stars? The JADES team has discovered hundreds of galaxies that existed when the universe was less than 60 million years old. The number of these galaxies is much more than the telescope’s previous estimates.

What is James Webb Space Telescope?

The James Webb Space Telescope is the largest telescope ever deployed in space. NASA launched it in December 2021. The construction of James Webb cost 10 billion dollars (about Rs 75,330 crore). This telescope has shown many spectacular pictures of deep space. The James Webb Telescope began its work in June last year, by then it was setting itself in space. This telescope will in the future replace the Hubble Telescope, which has been in space for the last 30 years.

NASA started further preparations

It has only been a year since the James Webb Telescope started its work and NASA has started preparations for the next telescope. It may take about 2 decades i.e. 20 years to launch it. The new telescope will be designed on the basis of what the US space agency has learned from its previous missions.
