890 foot Asteroid stadium size will come close to the earth 16th July says Nasa

Asteroids are continuously passing near the Earth. Some of those asteroids are potentially dangerous for our planet. American space agency NASA keeps warning about ‘dangerous’ asteroids. This time the rocky disaster about which he has told is equal to the size of a stadium. If the asteroid changes its direction or collides with the Earth, it can cause major devastation. Scientists have been believing that dinosaurs were wiped out from our earth millions of years ago due to the destruction caused by an asteroid collision.

NASA JPL’s AccordingAn asteroid named (2023 MG6) is coming close to our Earth. It will pass through the Earth on July 16 at a distance of 36 lakh 40 thousand kilometers. This is a huge asteroid, whose size is approximately 890 feet. NASA has described it as big as a stadium. It belongs to the Amor group of asteroids. Remember that the asteroids of the Amor group come closest to the Earth.

According to NASA, (2023 MG6) is coming towards our planet at a speed of about 44 thousand 564 kilometers per hour. Due to its distance and size from the Earth, NASA has considered this asteroid potentially dangerous for the Earth. However, it is not likely to hit our planet.

All such asteroids that come as close as 75 lakh kilometers to the Earth or are very large in size, NASA considers them potentially dangerous for the Earth. Another interesting thing about (2023 MG6) is that such a big asteroid has been discovered by scientists only this year.

According to NASA, asteroids are also called minor planets. Just as all the planets in our solar system revolve around the Sun, similarly asteroids also revolve around the Sun. Asteroids are rocky remnants left over from the early formation of our solar system about 4.6 billion years ago. Scientists have so far detected 11 lakh 13 thousand 527 asteroids.
