Bajaj Auto to Soon Launch CNG Motorcycle

Bajaj Auto, one of the big two-wheeler companies, is preparing to launch the first CNG motorcycle. The company has the expertise to manufacture CNG three-wheelers and the same can be used in this motorcycle. It can be between 110-125 cc. Earlier, the company had given information about some features of this motorcycle.

Managing Director of Bajaj Auto, Rajiv Bajaj said that the CNG motorcycle will be launched in June. It will be called Bajaj Bruzer. This will reduce CO2 emissions by about 50 percent. The cost of running this motorcycle will also be economical. It can run on both petrol and CNG. However, its price may be higher than petrol-powered motorcycles. The reason for this is its high manufacturing cost. Bajaj Auto’s Pulsar motorcycle sales may soon cross 20 lakh units. It is one of the best selling motorcycles for the company. It was launched in 2001.

This year Bajaj Auto can also introduce 400 cc single cylinder Pulsar. The company’s Chetak electric scooter is also getting good response from customers. Last year the company had launched the updated version of Chetak electric scooter. New features have been given in it. Its range has also been increased. The company says that it has also improved the supply chain to increase production. There has been no change in the design of this electric scooter. It can be purchased in three new colors, Matte Coarse Grey, Matte Caribbean Blue and Satin Black.

It has an LCD digital console, premium two-toned seat and scooter-coloured rear view mirrors. Its headlamps, indicators and central trim elements have a charcoal black finish, making it look different from the current version. The ARAI certified range of Chetak electric scooter is 108 kilometers on a single charge. However, the company says that its actual range is around 90 kilometers. There has been no change in its battery size and it is 2.88 kWh. It has a 4.2 kW PMS motor which gives a peak torque of 20 Nm.
