These users have been warned that their smartphones may be attacked by spyware. company The email sent by Apple said, “Apple has learned that a mercenary spyware is being attacked that can remotely harm your iPhone.” The company has advised these users to update to Apple’s new operating system – iOS 17.5.1. Along with this, users have been asked to enable the built-in lockdown mode so that the impact of the attack can be reduced. The company’s support document also warns users that Apple’s threat notification emails do not contain clickable links or ask users to install apps or download files.
