Chandrayaan-3 Spacecraft Integrated with Launch Vehicle LVM3, ISRO to Launch Mission Next Week

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has integrated Chandrayaan-3 with the launch vehicle LVM3. Last month, ISRO Chairman S Somnath had said that preparations are being made to launch the country’s third lunar mission between July 13 and July 19.

Somnath tweeted, “ISRO has integrated Chandrayaan-3 with LVM3 at the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. We will be able to land on the Moon. The launch will take place on July 13 and may extend till July 19.” Is.” Last month he had said, “Chandrayaan-3 is almost ready. Final integration and testing is almost complete. Some tests are yet to be done. One slot was available in February and another slot in June. We are looking for the June slot for the launch.” Would like to take.” Chandrayaan 3 is being sent to demonstrate the capability of safe landing and movement on the lunar surface.

Chandrayaan-2, the country’s second mission to the Moon, was launched about four years ago. However, this mission failed due to the crash of Vikram Lunar Lander on the Moon. ISRO Has decided not to rush into Gaganyaan project. This is a mission with passengers in space. ISRO has designed this mission in such a way that it will be successful in the first attempt itself. For this, testing and demonstration have been increased.

Last month, Somanath had told reporters that Gaganyaan was to be launched two years ago but it has been delayed due to Corona. He said, “Our thinking is different now. We believe that we do not want to rush. We have taken a decision. The main objective of this human space flight is a completely certain safe mission.” He said that testing related to this mission has been increased. This includes additional trial missions to ensure crew safety. Two such missions will take place this year and may be followed by an unmanned mission early next year. He had said, “Eight major tests are to be conducted and if all the tests are conducted successfully without any problem then this mission can be launched between 2024 and 2025.”
