There will be new restrictions on the time limit of free meetings on Google Meet

Let us tell you, till now any person with a Google account could make free video calls with 100 people through Google Meet, that too without any limit.
As The Verge reports, the September 30 deadline also applies to other features, such as G Suite Essentials, which includes Meet’s more advanced features like the ability to make video calls with up to 250 people, dial-in phone numbers, Features include the ability to live stream with up to 100,000 people on a single domain and save recordings of Google Meet on Google Drive. All these features are also available for free to the users till September 30 only.
The feature is available only to customers in the “Enterprise” tier of G Suite, which costs $25 (roughly Rs. 1,800) per user per month.
