CME Released From Sun G1 Class Geomagnetic storm Prediction on 13th June
Another Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) may hit the Earth in the coming days and trigger a geomagnetic storm on our planet. By SpaceWeather.com told This CME emanated from the Sun on June 9. While traveling in space, it is moving towards the Earth. If it collides with the Earth’s magnetic field, a G1 category geomagnetic storm can occur on our planet. This storm can affect the Earth tomorrow i.e. on 13th June.
The good thing is that geomagnetic storms do not directly affect humans. For example, we are not in danger of loss of life or property. Due to these storms, auroras are visible in the sky. These storms can damage satellites. Mobile networks and GPS systems may be affected. If the intensity is high, such storms can fail power grids.
Satellites of the American space agency NASA work day and night to detect movements in the Sun. One of them is SOHO, whose full name is Solar and Heliospheric Observatory. This satellite has been developed jointly by NASA and the European Space Agency, which has been keeping an eye on the Sun since 1995. This satellite has transmitted information related to many major solar storms to Earth.
