Amazon Pay Later service launched in India, you will get instant credit

Amazon has launched a credit service for Indian customers, named ‘Amazon Pay Later’. This service is an upgraded version of Amazon Pay EMI, which was launched in September 2018. However, consumers will get more benefits in this service, like customers will get instant credit on all the products listed online on Amazon Marketplace, apart from this, they can also use this credit to buy groceries and pay bills. By using Amazon Pay Later service, the customer will get the option to repay the payment in the next month, that too without any extra charges. For big transactions, you can also make installments of 12 months.

Amazon Pay Later service aims to encourage Indian customers to make more purchases and stretch their budget while shopping. This service allows the customer to pay the total amount in the next coming month after purchasing the product listed on Amazon. Along with this, the customer also gets the option of 12 months EMI. You will have to pay between one and a half to 2 percent interest on this monthly EMI, however, there are many products on Amazon which are available on no-cost EMI, that is, you can purchase those products without interest.

Apart from the credit available on all the products listed on Amazon, you can also avail this facility of Amazon Pay Later to pay your monthly bills, like electricity bill, water bill, recharge etc. Apart from this, customers can also use this facility for household items like grocery shopping during this time of lockdown. As we told you, the use of Amazon Pay Letter is available on almost all Amazon products, but this facility is not applicable on some, they are – Jewellery, Amazon Pay Gift Card, Amazon Pay Balance Top-up, Amazon Global Store products. And gold and silver.

Amazon India Director Vikas Bhansal said that Amazon Pay EMI could be used only on big purchases, for which you had to pay in installments. But now they have upgraded Amazon Pay, now customers can use it even on small amount purchases.
