Delhi Pollution Primary schools closed till 10 November delhi education minister Atishi announces

In view of the dangerous level of pollution, the Education Ministry in Delhi has given instructions to close primary schools till November 10. Schools with classes 6th to 12th can continue studies through online classes. Delhi Education Minister Atishi tweeted on social media platform Schools in grades 6-12 have the option to shift to online classes.
As pollution levels continue to remain high, primary schools in Delhi will stay closed till 10th November.
For Grade 6-12, schools are being given the option of shifting to online classes.

The air in Delhi is poisonous and due to pollution there is smoke day and night. These days, pollution in Delhi remains in very serious category. Delhi’s air quality index reached 480 on Sunday morning. Which is considered to be a very serious level of pollution. Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had also announced closure of schools in Delhi for 3rd and 4th November. Now it has been extended till November 10.
Talking about the highly polluted areas of Delhi on Sunday, the data of Central Pollution Control Board shows that on Sunday morning the Air Quality Index in Dwarka of Delhi was 486, in Jahangirpuri area it was 463, while in Aya Nagar it was 464. It has been recorded up to 480 near Indira Gandhi International Airport. This shows that the level of pollution in Delhi is enough to make people sick.
