Devara OTT Release: The first part of ‘Devara’ was released at the Indian box office in September. The film, which was mainly in Telugu language, had a strong start in Hindi also. However, due to mixed response from critics and audience turning away after a few days, the film could not garner much collection. Now preparations are on to release Devra on OTT. Data from industry tracker Sacnilk shows that Devra did a combined business of Rs 291.91 crore in India across all languages, while it cost a decent amount to make.

The digital rights of Devara were acquired by Netflix and now it is going to be released on this platform. The film starring Junior NTR in the lead role can be watched on Netflix (Devara on Netflix) from November 8.

According to reports, the film can be streamed in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. It will come in Hindi after some time. According to TOI report, the OTT rights of ‘Devra’ were sold for Rs 155 crore. The budget of the film is said to be Rs 300 crore, which has done a business of around Rs 400 crore including box office, OTT and satellite rights. Although the film was profitable, it did not achieve the expectations set by the makers.

Junior NTR has played a double role in Devra. His acting was appreciated by critics. Saif Ali Khan is also in this film and is in the role opposite Jr NTR. Janhvi Kapoor also played an important role in the film and it was also her Telugu debut. However, critics did not praise him much.

Talking about the film collection, Devra earned the maximum of Rs 220.47 crore from the Telugu version. The film earned Rs 62.08 crore in Hindi. The film’s collection in Kannada stood at Rs 2.04 crore, while in Tamil it earned Rs 5.97 crore and in Malayalam it earned Rs 1.35 crore.
