Aadhaar Card Update: How to change name, mobile number and email ID online

At one time Aadhar card was optional. But gradually it has become mandatory. Now it has become necessary to link PAN card with Aadhar card number to file income tax return. But many times it has been seen that due to human error, an error occurs in the Aadhaar card. Sometimes the name is wrong and sometimes your date of birth is written in something else on the card. In such a situation, you would like to make corrections in Aadhar card. Many times your mobile number, home address and email address also changes. There are three types of facilities mentioned on the Aadhaar website to update this information. If you want, you can update Aadhar card online. Aadhar card can also be updated by visiting the post and enrollment center. The website created for online Aadhaar update is known as Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal. For your convenience, we will tell you about online update of Aadhar card information.

Make it clear that to update Aadhaar card online, you must have the mobile number which was registered with your Aadhaar number. Because during the update process OTP will be sent to the mobile number. If you do not have that mobile number then go to the Aadhaar Enrollment Center and get it updated. Only after this you will be able to update your Aadhar card online. Let us make it clear that Indian citizens can update their name, address, gender, date of birth, mobile number and email address online only. 1. First of all go to the self service update portal.
2. Enter your Aadhaar number here.
3. After this you will get one time password on the registered mobile number.
4. After this enter the OTP and go to the update portal.

Aadhaar Data Update Request

1. After this, select the option which you want to update/improve.
2. The good thing is that you will be able to update all the options. Hopefully such a situation will not arise.
3. After selecting the option, the Aadhaar update form will appear in front of you. Here you can change the information as per your need. Here the name and address information will be updated in Hindi as well as in English.
4.Re-check the new information you have given. Because you will not want to return to this website once again. Once the verification is complete, click on Submit Update Request.

Aadhaar Update Document Upload

1. Now the change you have applied for. Documents related to it will also have to be given. Let us tell you that no documents will be required to make changes in email ID, mobile number and gender. But for change in name, date of birth and address, you will have to provide related documents.
2. For change in name, you will have to provide proof of identity (identity card). 3. To change the date of birth, you will have to provide a photocopy of birth certificate, secondary board passing certificate or passport.

5. Keep two-three things in mind while uploading documents. You will have to upload self-attested photo copies of the documents to be given as proof. And do not use the same document for two changes. It would be better to provide separate documents for this.

Select BPO service provider

1. After uploading the required documents, select the appropriate option from the BPO service provider.
2. Now submit the request
3. After this you will get the update request number. Keep it safe and write it down somewhere. You may wish to download or print an acknowledgment copy of the update request.
