Apple Newly Launched iPhone 16E Gets Propretary C1 5G Cellular Modem with Improved Efficiency

American devices maker Apple has launched the iPhone 16E. It will replace the iPhone SE introduced about three years ago. The company’s affordable iPhone has support for OLED display and Apple Intelligence features. A large upgrade company has a new Propritory C1 modem.

Apple has created a C1 modem in the last few years in an attempt to reduce the dependence on Qualcomm for the supply of 5G modem. The company claims that it is the most efficient modem of the iPhone. This provides faster and reliable 5G connectivity. The internal design of the iPhone 16E and the iOS18’s Advanced Power Management also extends the duration of battery. Apple has reported that the new iPhone can give a video of up to 26 hours. In comparison, the iPhone 16 gives a video playback of about 22 hours on single charge.

However, the iPhone 16E does not have support for the EHF band. Due to this, its download and upload scheme can be reduced. Apple sales in India have increased rapidly. Last year, the company has set a record of smartphone shipments in the country. The company’s iPhone shipments have increased by four percent to about 15.1 million units on a year-by-year basis. According to the report of Market Research Firm International Data Corporation (IDC), Apple smartphones have increased by seven percent in the first half last year. However, in the second half, the growth for the company was reduced to about two percent.

It has been reported in this report that the reason for the growth of iPhone’s growth on year-by-year basis for the company was a weak season in the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, iPhone shipments have been about 3.6 million units. This is a decrease of about three percent in these shipments. Last year, the average selling price (ASP) of smartphones for Apple was increased to about $ 259 (about Rs 22,480), despite an increase in iPhone shipments by four percent. The entry premium segment has increased by more than 35 percent on a year-on-year basis. This segment contains smartphones ranging from $ 200 to $ 400.
