Here’s an Easy Step-By-Step Guide to Change Photo in Voter ID Card Online

Voted Id Card is an important document, before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram and Telangana assembly elections are to be held at the end of this year. If you want to change the picture in your voter ID card before the elections, then today we will give you information about some important steps. By following these steps, you can easily change your picture sitting at home. Before changing the picture, keep a new passport size photograph with you.

How to change photo in Voted ID Card

Step 1: First of all go to the National Voter Service Portal www.nvsp.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, you will see the option for correction of entries in electoral roll at the bottom.
Step 3: After clicking on Correction in Entries in Voter List, Form 8 will open in front of you. If you want to change the language of the form, then click on the Select Language option appearing on the top right. Here you will get three language options – Hindi, English and Malayalam.
Step 4: After this, select your state and Assembly/Parliamentary constituency.
Step 5: Enter the information asked in the form. Note that any option in front of which you see ‘ * ‘, it is mandatory to fill it.
Step 6: There is a box on d/e number, here you have to click on ‘My Photograph’.
Step 7: After this, you have to click on Browse at the bottom and select the photo. After selecting the photo, upload it.
Step 8: After the photo is uploaded, enter your email and mobile number.
Step 9: After entering all the information, enter the Captcha code and click on the Submit button.
Step 10: After submitting the form, the reference number will appear on the screen. Note this number somewhere, with the help of this number you can easily check the application status. It may take about 30 days for the application process to be completed and the new ID card to be issued.
