How to remove your number and name from Truecaller

Truecaller is used by millions of people around the world. And you might have used it too. If you haven’t, then we will give you information about it. Whenever someone calls you from an unknown number, the Truecaller app tells you the identity of that user. Truecaller prepares contact details through the address book of every user’s smartphone. It is possible that you have never used this app, but still your number and name are present in Truecaller’s database. Not everyone knows this, but the Truecaller app also gives the addresses of some fixed line phones. If a telemarketer or spam call is coming from an office address, that’s okay. But you would never want someone to know your home address just because you called them. The fact is that Truecaller gets this information from public data stores. Do this to close Truecaller account

Android
Open the app > tap the People icon at the top left > Settings > About > Deactivate Account.

iPhone
Open the app > Tap on the gear icon at the top right > About TrueCaller > Scroll down > Then Deactivate TrueCaller.

Windows Mobile
Open the app, then tap the three-dot icon at the bottom-right corner > Settings > Help > Deactivate account.

1. Truecaller Unlisted Pages Go to.

2. Enter your number with country code. For example- +911140404040 or +919999999999

3. Select the option to unlist and give the reason. If you want, you can also give another reason in the other form.

4. Enter the verification captcha.

5. Click on Unlist.

Truecaller says that it removes these numbers within 24 hours of receiving an unlist request. This does not mean that your number will not be present in this service forever. We had removed our number a year ago. During this time we never used Truecaller, but our number started appearing on this service once again. In such a situation, the right solution would be to keep checking with someone you know who uses Truecaller whether your contact details are visible or not.
