Lucky Customer and Digi Dhan Vyapaar Yojana: Know whether you won the prize or not

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced two new schemes. Lucky Grahak Yojana for retail customers and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana for small traders were launched. Through these two schemes, the government wants to promote digital payments in India. The names of the winners of these schemes will be decided on the basis of lucky draw. At least Rs 1,000 will be given as a gift. The names of the winners of the Lucky Grahak Yojana will be selected on a daily and weekly basis. The names of the winning traders of the Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana will be announced every week. This scheme of the government will run till April 14.

To avail the benefits of Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapaar Yojana, you will have to make digital payments through UPI (United Payment Interface), RuPay, AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System) and USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) platforms. Users using other platforms like e-wallet, debit and credit cards will not be a part of Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapaar Yojana. Apart from this, you will have to make a payment between Rs 50 and Rs 3,000. People making digital payments of more than Rs 3,000 will not be able to get rewards under this scheme.

Here’s how to know about winning the award…

1. Go to the website.

2. After this you have to choose between Consumer and Merchant buttons.

3. After this you will see a box. Enter the phone number in it which is registered with UPI / USSD / Rupay / AEPS account.

4. After this you will get an OTP. Put it in the box visible in the middle of the screen.

5. After this click on the Try Your Luck button.

6. You will know through the next message whether you have won a prize under Lucky Customer Scheme and Digi Dhan Business Scheme or not.

If you have made payment through these government-backed platforms. But you see No Information Available message on the page, then provide more details like card number in case of RuPay, VPA for UPI transactions, Aadhaar number for AEPS and mobile number for USSD.

Lucky Customer Scheme Rewards
Under the Lucky Grahak Yojana, 15,000 customers will get a prize of Rs 1,000 every day. Weekly prizes will be of Rs 1 lakh, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000. These will be distributed among 7,000 customers. The mega draw will be held on April 14. During this, the prize money will be Rs 1 crore, Rs 50 lakh and Rs 25 lakh. The government will announce the names of 100 winners for USSD payment, Rs 1,500 for UPI and AEPS transactions and 11,900 for RuPay.

Digi Dhan Trading Scheme Rewards
Prizes will be given to 7,000 traders between 25 December 2016 and 14 April 2017. The prize money will be Rs 50,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 2,500. The mega draw will be held on April 14. During this time the prize money will be Rs 50 lakh, Rs 25 lakh and Rs 5 lakh.
