NASA Shares Mysterious Object Flying Over The Moon People Speculating an UFO All Details

US space agency NASA recently captured an unidentified flying object orbiting the Moon, which was the size of a silver colored surfboard. After the picture surfaced, speculations started that it might be a UFO. However, later the reality came out. NASA also shared pictures of this flying object with people, in which it can be seen that an object like a long stick or surfboard is flying above the surface of the moon. These pictures were captured by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LCO), which has been showing us interesting pictures of the Earth and the Moon for the last 15 years.

US Space Agency puts an end to rumors of UFO sighting above the Moon online told That this object is not an alienship, but South Korea’s first spacecraft Danuri Moon Orbiter, which is in the Moon’s orbit since December 2022. Actually, a long stick or surfboard-like shape is visible in the pictures because both LCO and Danuri were flying in the opposite direction to each other and both were at very high speeds at that time. In such a situation, the camera captured Denuri in this tremendous motion, due to which there was a smudge in the picture.

The two spacecraft were flying in opposite directions on March 5 and 6, when this photo was taken. According to NASA, this image was captured despite LRO’s incredibly low camera exposure time of only 0.338 milliseconds, which is why Denuri appears expanded to almost ten times its original size. The report says the precision required to capture these images required careful timing and coordination from the LRO operations team at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.

LRO’s narrow-angle camera managed to capture these stunning images over the course of three orbits as it closely intersected Denuri’s trajectory. Since its launch in 2009, LRO has been playing a vital role in gathering vital data about the Moon and is using its seven powerful instruments to make important contributions to lunar research.
