Performance on these 4 smartphones under Rs 8,000

PUBG Mobile experience in entry-level smartphones
There is no problem in playing PUBG Mobile even on high settings in flagship smartphones, but in phones coming between Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000, the game has to be played on medium settings. If you look at even lower priced phones you will notice that games run at lower settings e.g. Nokia 2.2 And LG W30 In. We found that the phone slowed down significantly during gameplay, making it difficult to play the game.
PUBG Mobile Lite
To get an idea of how low-end smartphones will handle PUBG Mobile Lite, we have prepared a list of popular processors offered in low-end smartphones. This list includes Nokia 2.2 which is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 processor, Realme C2 (review) which is MediaTek Helio P22 processor, redmi go Is (review) which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and Redmi 7A (review) which is equipped with Snapdragon 439 chipset.
The Redmi Go model is the most affordable smartphone in this list and its price is Rs 4,499. It runs on Android Go software and has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB storage. PUBG Mobile takes 2 GB storage if compared to PUBG Mobile Lite then it takes only 491 MB storage. PUBG Mobile Lite is small and easy to download on all the smartphones we tested.
PUBG Mobile Lite experience in Redmi Go phone
We were a bit surprised that the Redmi Go also loaded PUBG Mobile Lite with ease, albeit it took a little longer to load. The game took one minute and 16 seconds to load. There is no way to change the graphics settings in PUBG Mobile Lite, so the game ran at default settings. We noticed that the game was running a bit stuttery and some textures popped up on the device.

PUBG Mobile Lite played on the Redmi Go and it was not a disappointing experience. The phone did get a little warm after playing a full round but it was not unbearable. After playing the game for 20 minutes, 9 percent battery was consumed. We were happy with the fact that the game can be played even on a phone priced at Rs 4,499 and that too when the handset has 1 GB RAM.
PUBG Mobile Lite experience in Nokia 2.2
The MediaTek Helio A22 processor used in Nokia 2.2 is a common chipset in this price segment. When we reviewed the smartphone, we played PUBG Mobile on the phone and found that it was on low settings by default. Apart from this, there was also audio lag due to which there was some problem in playing the game.

On the other hand, there were no issues playing PUBG Mobile Lite on the Nokia 2.2. The game loaded without any issues and took approximately 1 minute and 15 seconds to load. Even on Nokia 2.2, the game ran on default settings but sometimes textures would pop-up. The gameplay was smoother in this handset compared to Xiaomi Redmi Go. After playing PUBG Mobile Lite for 25 minutes, Nokia 2.2 got a bit warm and consumed 5 percent battery which is okay. We also did not face any audio related problems.
PUBG Mobile Lite experience in Realme C2
MediaTek Helio P22 processor has been used in Realme C2. The handset is capable of handling PUBG Mobile at low settings but it was not smooth.
PUBG Mobile Lite ran better and the game took 1 minute and 6 seconds to load. We played the Lite version on the 3GB RAM variant priced at Rs 7,999 and the experience was smooth with no texture popping issues. After playing PUBG Mobile Lite for 20 minutes, 4 percent battery was consumed.
PUBG Mobile Lite experience in Redmi 7A
Redmi 7A is the fourth smartphone under Rs 8,000 on which we played PUBG Mobile Lite. This phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor. We did encounter a few issues with texture rendering but nothing that would spoil the gaming experience. The Redmi 7A loaded the game in just 54 seconds. We played PUBG Mobile Lite on the phone for 20 minutes. After playing the game for 20 minutes, the battery was reduced by 4 percent and the phone also did not get very hot.
we experienced this
After testing PUBG Mobile Lite on these popular Android smartphones in the low-end segment, we were happy to know that the game can be played on Redmi Go smartphones as well. It is an affordable phone priced at Rs 4,499, however the experience was not very good as the game kept stuttering at times.
The experience with the MediaTek Helio A22 processor in Nokia 2.2 was good. If your budget is around Rs 6,000, then apart from Nokia 2.2 equipped with MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, you will get other options in this segment. Infinix Smart 3 Plus and Redmi 6A (reviewSmartphone will also be available. Although, redmi 7a ,review) is also priced at Rs 5,999 and you will definitely get a better PUBG Mobile Lite experience in this handset also.
