BSNL 4G network expected to launch in October says reports
Report According to, the results of BSNL 4G trials have been quite satisfactory. Apart from this, the company is also asking its users to swap or upgrade 4G SIM. Only by doing this, 4G services can be accessed.
According to the report, a senior officer of the company said that we have successfully tested our 4G network in all circles and major cities. The results have been promising. The time has come for us to launch our commercial 4G services.
Earlier, Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had said that the number of BSNL subscribers is increasing. He had told that the company has prepared indigenous 4G network, work is being done to upgrade it to 5G.
Scindia had said that under ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, a 4G network using indigenous technology is ready and in a few months its service will be available in the entire country through BSNL. He said, “When Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel launched 4G networks, many people asked why not BSNL? It was the Prime Minister’s resolve that if we have to develop the network of a government telecom company, then we should not go to China or any other company.” Will not use equipment from the country. It was decided that an indigenous technology would be developed.
