Whatsapp has now made it easier to find messages in chat. Soon users will be able to use this facility. Now you will not need to search the entire chat to find the message, you will be able to search the message directly by entering the date. The company has rolled out this feature on the Test Flight app. It has been named Search For Messages By Date.

The company has listed it with the same name on WhatsApp beta of iOS 22.24.0.77. Today this feature has also been released for Android tablet support and companion mode of iOS. WABetainfo has given information about this. This feature has been brought to further improve the platform experience for the users. Users will now be able to jump straight to any date’s message without having to scroll through the entire chat.

To experience this on your device, you have to go to any chat and go to the search option. If you see the calendar icon here, then this feature has been activated in your WhatsApp account. If not, don’t worry, it will be available to all users very soon.

Note here that your WhatsApp should be updated with the latest version. The company says that this feature of WhatsApp will be available to all users in the coming days. Recently the company had added another feature to the messenger with the help of which the user can send his own message. Earlier, there was no option to send messages to oneself and one had to take the help of another WhatsApp account.
