HP has highest share in Indian personal computer market: Report

Dell ranked second with 24.1 percent share. Compared to the previous quarter, this company registered a growth of 27.6 percent.
According to IDC, HP achieved 18.9 percent growth compared to the second quarter of 2016.
Ketan Patel, Senior Director, HP India, said, “We have been able to achieve our share growth due to our commitment to provide great products to our customers.”
Lenovo stood third in this quarter with 17.5 percent market share. It has been informed in the report that the company registered a growth of 27.3 percent compared to the second quarter of 2016.
In the third quarter of 2016, about 25 lakh personal computers were made available in the market by companies. This is 17.3 percent more than the previous quarter. However, 22.5 percent less than the same quarter last year.
13 lakh 70 thousand units were sold in the consumer PC market, which is 31 percent more than the previous quarter.
