After the launch of Redmi 5A in India, Micromax has launched its new budget smartphone Bharat 5. The most important feature of the new Bharat 5 smartphone is the 5000 mAh battery provided in it. Apart from this the phone has a 5.2 inch display. The phone has been designed keeping in mind the entry-level smartphone customers. But, the phone is expected to face a tough challenge as Xiaomi has made an excellent track record in the low-budget segment and Redmi 5A is to be sold in these markets. Apart from this, there is also a slightly expensive Nokia 2 in this category, which is trying to make its place among the customers due to its old memories.

If one has to choose between these three smartphones, it may be a bit difficult for the customers to choose the right option. To ease your problem, we have gathered the specifications, features and price of Redmi 5A, Micromax Bharat 5 and Nokia 2 in India at one place.

The price of Redmi 5A for 2 GB RAM / 16 GB storage in India is Rs 5,999. And the price of 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage will be available for Rs 6,999. The phone will be made available nationwide on December 7 on Me.com and Flipkart. The company will also give a discount of Rs 1,000 to the first 50 lakh customers who purchase the 2 GB RAM variant. Apart from this, Jio customers will get Rs 1,000 cashback in the form of recharge voucher on purchasing the handset. After all these offers, the effective price of 2 GB RAM variant of Redmi 5A becomes Rs 3,999.

The price of Micromax Bharat 5 is Rs 5,555. Vodafone customers will get 10 GB additional data on purchasing 1 GB recharge for five months, which means a total of 50 GB free data. Nokia 2 buyers will have to spend Rs 6,999 and will get a 12-month accidental damage insurance plan from Servifi. Customers using Jio network will get 5GB additional data for 9 months on recharge of Rs 309 or above, totaling 45GB additional data. Micromax and Nokia handsets are available for purchase only through offline channels.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A runs MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat and has a 5-inch HD display. The phone will have a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, 2 GB or 3 GB RAM options. The smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The inbuilt storage can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128 GB). The device supports hybrid dual-SIM.

Talking about connectivity, Redmi 5A comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, Infrared, 3.5mm audio jack and Micro-USB port. The phone has a 3000 mAh battery which is claimed to provide standby time of up to 8 days.

The dual-SIM Micromax Bharat 5 runs Android Nougat and features a 5.2-inch HD display. The phone has a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB RAM. The smartphone has 5 megapixel front and rear sensors which come with LED flash. Micromax has provided 16 GB inbuilt storage in Bharat 5 which can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. For connectivity, the phone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB port.

The most important feature of Bharat 5 is the 5000 mAh battery provided in it, with which Micromax has claimed to get a battery life of 2 days. Whereas standby time up to 3 weeks can be available.

The Nokia 2 competes with the 3GB RAM variant of the Redmi 5A. But it has only 1 GB RAM. However, Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, says that despite the low system memory, due to optimization, the user will not face any problem.

Nokia 2 features a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) LTPS display. The body of the handset is made of 6000 series aluminium. The screen has Gorilla Glass 3 protection and the back is polycarbonate. This Nokia phone uses 1.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor. RAM is 1 GB. Inbuilt storage is 8 GB and if needed, microSD card up to 128 GB can be used.

The smartphone has an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera which is equipped with LED flash. Users will be able to take selfies with the 5 megapixel fixed focus front camera. As we told you earlier that the phone has a 4100 mAh battery. The handset will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. The company has also promised an update to Android Oreo.
