You always keep your phone locked for security reasons. But sometimes it happens that the phone remains unlocked. And WhatsApp is a very personal app and especially chat. You like to keep WhatsApp chats hidden from everyone and in such a situation the archive feature comes in handy. With the help of Archive, WhatsApp users can hide any message. Archiving WhatsApp conversations is very easy. For this, first go to the chat interface and now long tap on the conversation you want to hide. Now you will see a pop-up menu at the top. After this tap on the Archive toggle. And this way your chat will be archived and will not be visible on the main screen.

For the convenience of its users, WhatsApp has also provided the feature of archiving all chats together. For this, first go to the main menu and tap on Settings. Now, click on the Chat History option visible in Settings. Here tap on Archive all chats. Now click OK to confirm.

You can also restore archived chats on WhatsApp. Scroll to the bottom of the chat interface for hidden archive chats. Archive chat will appear there, now tap on it. On long press select option to unarchive chat. This way your hidden chats will start appearing in your chat feed again.
