How to activate free caller tune on Reliance Jio number

Reliance Jio’s services are no longer free. But for Jio customers, packs with affordable rates have been made available by the company. We are talking about Jio Summer Surprise and Jio Dhan Dhana offer. Under these offers, customers get unlimited internet facility along with free voice calls. Apart from this, SMS are also free and subscription of all Jio apps are also free. But Jio is a service which is available for free from day one till now. We are talking about JioTunes.

JioTunes is a value added service that allows users to set their favorite songs or music as caller tune. Hope you know about caller tune. Actually, when a person calls you, he hears the same boring tring-tring sound. But after setting the caller tune, that person will listen to the song or music selected by you.

To set up JioTune, you can download Jio Music from Google Play or App Store. You can set the JioTune of your choice by browsing the app. There are two ways to set it through the app –

• Click on the three-dot drop down menu visible on the right side of the song category page. Here select ‘Set As JioTune’.
• Apart from this, if you want, you can activate any song in player mode by clicking on the ‘Set As JioTune’ button visible at the bottom of the player.

There are other ways to activate JioTune
If you want, you can SMS the first three letters of the song of your choice to 56789. After this you will get an SMS which will have song options containing those three letters. After this, follow the given instructions and set the song of your choice in Jiotune.

• If you want, you can make Jiotune the song of a particular genre, singer, movie or album. Singer for this or movie or Album You have to send SMS to 56789.
• Whereas, by simply SMSing JT to 56789, you will get instructions to select a particular song. By following these you can set up JioTune.

You can also copy JioTunes of other Jio customers.
To make the same song as the caller tune of other Jio customers, press the ‘*’ button on the smartphone before the call ends.

• After this you will receive an SMS from 56767 to confirm your demand.
• After this you will have to reply to the SMS by writing Y and after this Jio Tune will be activated on your Jio number.
