Micromax launches laptop for Rs 10,499

Micromax has launched its new Canvas Lapbook L1160 laptop. The new lapbook is priced at Rs 10,499 and will be available exclusively on online shopping website Amazon. The new Micromax Lapbook will be available in black color variant. Earlier, the company had launched Canvas Lapbook L1161 in October last year. The new lapbook does not have built-in 3G SIM support like the previous lapbooks.

Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1160 features an 11.6-inch multitouch IPS display with (1366 x 768 pixels) resolution. Running on Windows 10 OS, this lapbook has a 1.33 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor. Microsoft has partnered with Intel and Microsoft for this.

The new Canvas Lapbook L1160 has 2 GB RAM. The laptop comes with 32 GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 64 GB). The laptop is equipped with a built-in keyboard with a trackpad. The laptop also has a VGA front facing camera.

The dimensions of the laptop are 295.5×199.5×18 mm and weight is 1.13 kg. Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1160 has a 4100 mAh battery while the Lapbook L1161 has a 5000 mAh battery.

Talking about connectivity, this laptop has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port and an Ethernet port.

The Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1161, launched in October, used a 1.83 GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor. The lapbook runs on Windows 10 operating system. It comes with dual speakers. It has an 11.6-inch HD IPS display and its inbuilt storage is 32 GB which can be expanded with the help of microSD card (up to 64 GB). The device has a 5000 mAh battery. According to the company, the battery will last for 11 hours in normal use. The weight of this lapbook is 1.3 kg.
