Lenovo launches Windows 10 laptop for just Rs 14,999

Lenovo has launched a new affordable IdeaPad 100S laptop in India. Interested customers will be able to buy it for Rs 14,999. It is available exclusively on e-commerce site Snapdeal. It is based on Windows 10 operating system which is the biggest feature of the laptop at this price.

Recall that the IdeaPad 100S was launched by Lenovo at IFA 2015. It was introduced along with IdeaPad and Yoga Tablet. It is worth noting that the features of the variants introduced in India are slightly different.

Lenovo IdeaPad 100S has an 11.6-inch HD (1366×768 pixels) TN display. Equipped with 1.83 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor, this laptop has Intel HD for graphics. Inbuilt storage is 32 GB and can be expanded via microSD card. There is 2 GB RAM for multitasking.

Other features on the Lenovo IdeaPad 100S include Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port. Its battery is claimed to last for about 8 hours. The laptop has a 0.3 megapixel webcam and a standard keyboard.

The weight of IdeaPad 100S is 1 kg and dimensions are 292x202x17.5 mm. The company is emphasizing about Dolby Advanced Audio Technology. Its silver color variant will be available in the market and it comes with 1 year warranty.
