Delhi is at number one in terms of forgetting, Mumbai is at second place while Bengaluru is at third place. Hyderabad is the 4th most forgetful city and Pune is at the 5th position.
Most lost luggage in Uber
According to the survey, phones, bags, wallets and clothes are the top items lost in Uber across India. After this come essential items like water bottle and keys. During the Uber ride, the rider had also forgotten items like glasses and jewellery.
Unique item lost during trip
According to the survey, unique items like a ukulele, a coin collection, offerings and a hair trimmer were also forgotten by the riders. Some even left documents like passports, bank and business papers in their Uber rides.
When do users forget the most?
According to the survey, Uber riders are most likely to forget their luggage on Saturdays and around 7 pm. It was revealed that Apple devices are the most lost items during festival seasons like Diwali.
What Uber said on ‘Lost and Found Index’ Head of Central Operations Nitish Bhushan said, “We all have been riding and it has happened to all of us when we suddenly realize that we have lost a valuable item or other valuables even in the cab. I forgot. With Uber, you have the option to attempt to recover your lost item by following certain steps in the app. We recognize how much riders trust us every time they ride with Uber. In such a situation, we felt it was time to provide information on how to get back lost items.
