Lok Sabha Elections 2024: In a democratic society, the vote of every citizen has great power. Voting has started in many states with the first phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024. In such a situation, it is important for you to ensure your name in the voter list. With the advent of the digital age, it has now become a matter of a pinch to check the name in the voter list. Before starting, let us tell you that the world’s biggest election has started in India. Voting took place in 21 states and union territories on Friday (April 19) during the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections. The Lok Sabha elections are being held in seven phases which will end on June 1 and the counting of votes will take place on June 4. About 97 crore voters will decide the fate of the candidates in this year’s Lok Sabha elections. More than 1.8 crore first voters will exercise their franchise.

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: How to check your name in voter’s list?

Step 1: Go to the portal
First of all, open any browser on your smartphone or PC/Laptop and electoralsearch.eci.gov.in Go to the portal.

Step 2: Choose a search method
Here you will find many ways to search the name, which include Search by Details, Search by EPIC and Search by Mobile options.

Step 3: Search by details
In this method, first click on “Search by Details” and fill the details like your name, father or husband’s name, date of birth, age, gender, state, district and assembly constituency. After this enter CAPTCHA and click on ‘Search’.

Step 4: Search by EPIC
In this method, first select “Search by EPIC” option and select your preferred language. Now provide the state information along with the EPIC number present on your voter card. Finally enter CAPTCHA and click on ‘Search’.

Step 5: Search by mobile
First select “Search by Mobile” and select your state and language. Now enter the mobile number which is registered with your voter card. Enter CAPTCHA and click on ‘Search’.
