First glimpse of Nokia 3310 (2017)

When HMD Global announced that the company will be bringing back the popular Nokia 3310 at MWC 2017. So the expectations and excitement about this feature phone were high. The price of the new Nokia 3310 is 49 Euro (about Rs 3,500). And this phone was successful in attracting people with its modern look, while reviving old memories (Snakes game and Nokia ringtones). We got our first glimpse of the new Nokia 3310 at the launch event and learn all about it in the video below.

Nokia 3310 (2017) has a brand new design. The phone retains the memories of the original 3310 with curved edges and a sturdy build. The new curved screen window is designed for better readability in sunlight. The phone has new push buttons and a new UI with some features from the original phone. Nokia 3310 looks more beautiful with the new color variants of Red, Yellow, Blue and Grey.

Nokia 3310 (2017) has a 2-megapixel rear camera. And the biggest feature of the phone is the presence of 3.5 mm audio jack. Talking about other Nokia 3310 specifications, it has 2.4 inch QVGA display, 2G connectivity and Nokia Series 30+ OS. This handset has 16 MB storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The phone has a 1200 mAh battery which is claimed to provide talk time of up to 22 hours and standby time of up to 31 days.

In addition to bringing back the popular Nokia 3310, HMD Global has also optimized and updated the classic Snake game for the new 3310. This game will be available on the new version of Facebook’s Messenger app.
