HMD Crest Series to Launch in India on July 25 Amazon Landing Page Confirmed

HMD is going to launch HMD Crest series in the Indian market soon. This is going to be the first smartphone from HMD to come without Nokia branding in India. The company confirmed the launch date of the new smartphone through a teaser on X on Tuesday. Not much is known about the smartphone in the teaser, but it is confirmed to have a rear panel which is made of glass. The HMD Crest series will be sold in the country through Amazon. It is said that these smartphones are made in India. Like the recent HMD smartphones, the upcoming series is also designed around the self-repairability concept.

When will HMD Crest series be launched in India?

The official HMD India account (@HMDdevicesIN) has announced the upcoming launch of the HMD Crest series. Post Which is going to happen on 25th July. The photo shared by the brand shows the rear panel of the smartphone. Apart from this, e-commerce site Amazon has created a landing page on its website to give information about the launch of the new smartphone.

Amazon listing It has been revealed that the rear panel of the HMD Crest series will have a glossy finish and will be made of glass. The listing emphasizes on the portrait imaging capabilities of the upcoming smartphone. Apart from this, the smartphone will come with easy self-repair features. It is confirmed to be ready in India and HMD has announced that Bollywood actress Sanya Malhotra will be the brand ambassador of the upcoming lineup. Whereas the brand has only revealed the HMD Crest series. It can be expected to include Crest and Crest Max 5G models.

HMD Pulse Specifications

HMD Crest is likely to be launched largely as a rebrand of HMD Pulse. HMD Pulse was launched in Europe in April this year with a price tag of EUR 140 (roughly Rs. 12,460). HMD Pulse features a 6.65-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720×1,612 pixels with a 90Hz refresh rate. HMD Pulse works on Android 14. The HMD Pulse packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. It has an octa-core 12nm Unisoc T606 chipset. Talking about camera setup, it has a 13-megapixel primary camera in the rear and an 8-megapixel selfie camera in the front.
