Xiaomi 15 Pro Battery Charging Specifications Leaked Ahead of Launch Expected Features Details
A popular tipster in China is a digital chat station (name translated from Chinese). Claim It is said that Xiaomi is testing its upcoming smartphone Xiaomi 15 Pro with 6,000mAh battery and 90W fast charging support. The same tipster recently claimed that the 15 Pro was being tested with a 5,400mAh battery and 120W fast charging. It was said at that time that even though the company is testing it at 120W output, it may be limited to lower output at the time of launch. Information about wireless charging support in the phone was also given.
Additionally, a recent leak suggested that the Xiaomi 15 Pro will have three 50-megapixel cameras on the rear. The primary camera will offer f/1.4-f/2.5 variable aperture, which is different from the f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture on the Xiaomi 14 Pro. This means that the aperture will not be as closed as it was on the previous one. According to previous rumors, the 15 Pro’s camera system will include a periscope telephoto. Apart from this, there will also be a 50 megapixel ultrawide camera. The light intake of the telephoto lens has reportedly been improved compared to its previous model, which is likely to improve the image quality of the telephoto lens.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro will reportedly use the OV50K as its primary sensor. It is said to be the most powerful image sensor of OmniVision and its dynamic range is quite good. The OV50K image sensor offers a pixel size of 1.2-micron and a sensor size of 1/1.3″. It also has high gain and correlated multi-sampling (CMS) functions, which help in low light conditions. It supports 120fps output and 60 fps in HDR. The phone also supports variable aperture, which allows it to adjust light intake depending on conditions.
It was reported that Sony IMX8 series sensor has been used in periscope telephoto and it supports 5x optical zoom. It is worth noting that Xiaomi 15 Pro is also equipped with Leica Summilux lens. This optical solution is expected to improve the clarity of the final output.
