Nasa’s 2 woman astronaut will do spacewalk today in ISS how to watch live

Not every astronaut gets the opportunity to spacewalk in the International Space Station (ISS). Such incidents become more rare when spacewalks are conducted entirely by women. It is a coincidence that this is going to happen on ISS today on the occasion of Karva Chauth. According to Indian time, from 5.35 pm today, two female astronauts of the American space agency NASA will walk in space. Both the passengers will exit the ISS for maintenance work. The special thing is that this year 12 spacewalks have been done on the ISS, but in the history of ISS, there have been only 3 spacewalks which were completed by women astronauts.

NASA’s blog It has been told that astronauts- ‘Jasmine Moghbeli’ and ‘Loral O’Hara’ will do a spacewalk on the ISS today. It will start at 5:35 pm according to Indian time. This will be a maintenance work, which includes maintenance of radio communication gear and replacement of hardware.

It is estimated that this spacewalk will last for 7 hours. Jasmine Moghbeli and Loral O’Hara, part of Expedition 70, visit the space station. This team reached ISS on 27 September. This spacewalk can be watched live online. It can be seen on NASA TV and NASA YouTube channel. It will also be shown live on NASA’s app.

The International Space Station is stationed in space 400 kilometers above the Earth. This is a joint project of many countries, which also includes America and Russia. A team of astronauts is always stationed on the ISS and completes science-related experiments and other tasks. The ISS revolves around the Earth. It shares information about the countries over which it passes. ISS will be deorbited in the next few years i.e. it will be removed in the future. Its timeline has been fixed for 2030.
