Swiggy Customer Care Scam on google a man loses Rs 3 lakhs
Nikhil Chawla, a user on social media platform X and Instagram, said in a post that his father had ordered food from Swiggy. When the delivery was not made on time, he became disappointed and decided to call Swiggy’s customer care.
According to the user, the old man searched Google and found a number of ‘Swiggy Call Centre’. According to Nikhil, when his father called the number, he was defrauded of Rs 35,000 in the first transaction. When the old man came to know about this, he called customer care again. Then the fraudsters took the credit card details from them.
Chawla claims that scammers copied his father’s SIM and cloned the phone and made transactions worth more than Rs 3 lakh.

“My father has been a victim of cyber time bank fraud. He ordered food from @Swiggy. When the order was not received then after 3-4 hours they called for refund. Someone duped him of Rs 35,000 in the name of doing UPI and took credit card information and then copied the SIM. A total fraud of more than Rs 3 lakh has taken place. Nikhil has sought help from Delhi Police.

Swiggy says that it does not have an official customer care number. Use our in-app chat support for any issues. Swiggy says that such cases should be reported to cyber crime authorities.
