A meteorite fell in a house in New Jersey America reached the bedroom
Business Insider told It is said that the possible meteorite fell on the roof of the house at around 1:15 pm local time. There was no one there then. Police believe that it is a meteorite. It has been damaged due to hitting the floor. The local fire department confirmed that the item was not dangerous.
Police contacted a scientist from New Jersey to investigate the possible meteorite. Hopewell Township Police Department Chief James Rosso told Business Insider that he has seen many interesting incidents in his career, but never imagined that one day he would also see a meteorite.
The weight of the rock piece is said to be around 1.8 kg. Whenever a meteorite enters the Earth’s atmosphere, it burns due to friction and high temperature. Many times meteors do not burn completely and such pieces reach the Earth. These are called meteorites. It is a rare event for meteorites to hit buildings or people. According to scientists, the meteorite that fell on the house could be 4 to 5 billion years old. It is noteworthy that meteor showers are visible from Earth during many months of the year. Most meteors burn up completely in the Earth’s atmosphere. The remaining part of those meteors which do not burn completely falls on the Earth.
