AC Helmet Developed by IIM Vadodara Students Used by Traffic Police to Beat Summer Here All Details

Students of IIM Vadodara have designed an ‘AC Helmet’, which will provide relief to traffic policemen during the summer season. In fact, according to news agency PTI, this unique and very useful helmet prepared by IIM students has been given by Vadodara Police for use by its 450 policemen who work long shifts in the scorching heat. The new air-conditioned helmet works to keep the wearer’s head cool.

PTI has shared a video on X, in which a traffic policeman is shown standing on the road. The policeman has a board in his hand, in which it is written about following the traffic rules, but the most amazing thing here is his helmet. The helmet appears to be a modified version of the common police helmet, with a machine fitted on the front.

There is a vent in the machine to draw air outside, which may be used to draw hot air from outside, which the machine may convert into cold air and send it inside the helmet. The machine is connected with a battery, which can be seen in the video, which is placed on the policeman’s waist through a belt.

It is told in the video that this helmet has been prepared by the students of IIM Vadodara and the police department has given this helmet to 450 policemen for use.

Let us tell you that like every year, this year too the heat can show its severe form. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted severe heat in most areas of the country from April to June. During this period, chances of heat wave lasting between 10 to 20 days are high. In such a situation, this helmet of IIM can definitely prove to be very useful for the policemen of Vadodara.
