Aditya L1 Earth-bound maneuver completed reached 71767 KM away from the Earth ISRO

The third procedure related to the Earth’s orbit of India’s first solar mission Aditya L-1 was successfully completed in the early hours of Sunday. Indian Space Agency ISRO’s Bangalore-based ‘Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network’ (ISTRAC) successfully completed this task. After this change, the minimum distance of ‘Aditya’ spacecraft from the Earth has become 296 kilometers and the maximum distance has become 71 thousand 767 kilometers. The next procedure related to the spacecraft will now be done on 15 September 2023 at around 2 am Indian time.

ISRO said on the social media platform ‘X’ that the third process related to Earth Orbit (EBN-3) was successfully completed from ISTRAC Bangalore. During this period, all ISRO centers monitored the satellite.

It is noteworthy that Aditya L1 is India’s first space based observatory. Earlier this month, on September 2, it was launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. This observatory is about 15 lakh kilometers away from the earth.
Will reach the Sun-Earth Lagrangian point (L-1) and study the outer atmosphere of the Sun.

The orbit of ‘Aditya L1’ was changed after launch. The first process was completed on September 3 and the second process on September 5. ISRO has already told that Aditya spacecraft is expected to take approximately 127 days to reach its destination.

L1 point is 15 lakh kilometers away from the Earth, from where the Sun can always be monitored. When the mission starts its work, ISRO will be able to know solar activities in real time. Aditya Spacecraft has taken with it 7 scientific instruments. All of these are indigenous and have been prepared by various departments of India. With the help of instruments, different parts of the Sun will be studied.
