After Airtel Now Jio Signs Deal With Spacex to Bring Starlink Internet Services to India

Reliance Jio has joined hands with Alan Musk’s satellite internet provider Starlink. Both companies have made a deal to provide satellite internet in India under partnership. The interesting thing is that just a day before that, India’s second largest telecom company Airtel also announced the deal with Spacex.

Reliance Jio users may soon get a gift of satellite internet connectivity. Jio has signed a deal to provide satellite internet with Spacex. The company has also announced this with its official handle on X. Reliance Jio will help Starlink in its device, hardware and installation. These services Jio will make available through its retail outlet and online stores. The company plans to make the equipment of Starlinks available at its physical stores. Also, customer service installation and activation can also be done through them.

Due to this participation of Jio, now Reliance Jio has started the path of becoming the world’s largest mobile operator in terms of data traffic. Along with this, the name of Starlink with the name of the company now can benefit it in many ways. The two companies will jointly provide reliable broadband service in the country, including remote areas of India. These will be areas where providing mobile internet connections is almost impossible. But with the help of satellite internet, this work will be very easy.

Starlink will also complement Jioairfiber and JioFiber by delivering fast and affordable internet in the most challenging places. Jio and Spacex are also looking for other areas of this participation so that companies can use their respective infrastructure to increase India’s digital ecosystem. However, this task may take time. The deal between the two companies may have been done, but Spacex will have to take approval from many other authorities in India. These services will be able to start in the country only after getting all kinds of approval.
