After Reliance Jio Summer Surprise and Dhan Dhana Dhan offers are over, what next?

After the launch of Reliance Jio in September, Jio users took advantage of the company’s services for free for the first six months. And even after this, Reliance Jio users got all the services for three months with Jio Summer Surprise and Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer at very low prices. However, now the additional Jio services being provided to many customers will start ending as the validity of those who initially availed the Summer Surprise offer is about to end. Something similar is happening with Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan users till the end of this month. Till now the telecom operator has not announced any new promotional offer, hence most of the Jio users are curious to know what is going to happen next. Today we will tell you what will be the effect of expiry of validity of these two offers and what Jio users should do in the coming days.

Reliance Jio Summer Surprise Offer
Under Jio Summer Surprise Offer, Reliance Jio is providing free services to the customers for 90 days. Once 90 days are completed, customers will get services for additional 28 days in exchange for that Rs 303/499 recharge. Once the validity of 28 days of this recharge ends, you will have to recharge Rs 309 or more for every 28 days to continue the Jio service.

If you are one of the first people who took Jio Prime subscription plan. And if you have done a recharge of Rs 149 or less before doing Rs 303 (or higher) recharge, then after the validity of Jio Summer Surprise offer ends, the services will continue to be available with the commencement of validity of the lower priced recharge. Understand it this way, if you first took Jio Prime membership for Rs 99 and then recharged for Rs 149 and then recharged for Rs 303. Now in this situation, if your free services have ended on 30th June, then your recharge of Rs 303 will remain active till 28th July and then the recharge of Rs 149 will automatically get activated from 29th July. Once all these recharges are over, you can recharge Rs 309 every month.

Reliance Jio users who signed up for the Dhan Dhana Dhan offer got 90 days of services after taking Jio Prime membership with recharge of Rs 309/509. So, unlike the Jio Summer Surprise offer, there are no free services in this offer and you get Jio services for three recharge cycles on one recharge. This means that if your complimentary services expire on 15th July, you will have to do a new recharge on 16th July.

Interestingly, a Reliance Jio user told Gadgets 360 that the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer is still open to those who have not signed up for the Prime service. However, Jio had promised to discontinue this service ‘soon’ in April itself.

If you do not know about your free Jio service and plan, balance, then you can get the information through MyJio app and Jio.com website.

Use the MyJio app to check the validity of your existing Reliance Jio plan as well as prepaid balance and Follow these steps.

1. Open the MyJio app via password or SIM verification.
2. As soon as you open the app, you will see balance written at the top. If you are still on Jio Summer Surprise or Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer and have never taken any top up, then your balance may become Nil.
3. To check Jio plan and validity, open the menu by swiping from left to right.
4. Click on My Plans option, and after this you will see the active plan and validity of Jio membership.

To check validity and balance of Reliance Jio plan on the web, you have to follow these steps:

1. Open Jio.com website and click on the signin option at the top right corner.
2. Here you can login to your Jio account through password or OTP.
3. Once you login, you will see your Reliance Jio balance at the top.
4. Scroll down to check the Jio plan validity, and then click on the My Plans option.
5. You will see the expiry date of Jio plan at the bottom.
6. By going to the My Statement option, you can generate a statement about your data usage and any charges.

The statement will be generated in the pop-up as a PDF file. So if pop-up windows are disabled in your browser, make sure to right click on the check box for pop-up notifications on the right side of the address bar.
