The first MPs used to sign a digital pen on the register or tablet kept in the lobby of Parliament House, which came into force after the new Parliament House was built. But Deccan Herald’s report UnderNow taking this one step forward, the facility of attendance has been given at the touch-screen terminal present on every MP’s seat. These are the same terminals that were previously used only to read the daynda, documents or bills of the day. This upgrade will not only be able to avoid the lobby crowd, but will also stop the old system in which some MPs used to leave the House by attending.
