Airtel Partners with Blinkit to Deliver Sim Cards in Just 10 Minutes in Select Cities All Details

Bharti Airtel has announced a partnership with Quick Commerce platform Blinkit, under which customers can now get a new SIM card sitting at home in 10 minutes. This service has been started for the first time by any telecom company in India. Currently, this facility is available in a total of 16 cities including Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonipat, Ahmedabad, Surat.

According to the company, users will not have to visit the store to get a new SIM from this service. Airtel’s new prepaid or postpaid SIM card will be transported directly to the customer’s address at a service fee of Rs 49. Apart from this, the option of MNP (mobile number portability) is also included in it, that is, if a user wants to change his network provider to Airtel Network, then he can also take advantage of this facility.

The process of Airtel SIM activation has also been made easier. For this, Aadhaar-Based E-KYC authentication will be used. An online link and an activation video will be sent to the customer, in which the entire process would have been mentioned.

The company has stated that customers can use the Airtel Thanks app for support, and a dedicated helpline will also be available for new users. However, one thing has to be noted that it will be necessary to activate the SIM card within 15 days.

Under this partnership by Airtel Blinkit, in the current 16 cities where this service has been started, Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonipat, Ahmedabad, Surats, Chennai, Bhopal, Indore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Lucknow, Jaipur, Jaipur, Kolkata, Hairatel have said that this facility will start in the coming times in the coming times.
