Do you think you forget things? Or is your memory becoming weak? But the biggest advantage of using a smartphone is that you do not need to remember every thing, thing or event. Today, smartphone has become an important part of our everyday life and many times it works as our assistant.

You do not need to download any special app or activate any new feature in your phone. Today we will tell you five such ways by which you will not need to strain your brain to remember everything and your mobile will easily remind you of these things.

1) take a picture
The best way to remember things is to capture them in pictures. And it is also the easiest. For this, neither you have to download any app nor you have to type any kind of information. Just open your phone camera and take a picture.

For example, if you are at an event and see a number, instead of memorizing it, click its picture. Or by capturing the ingredients of a recipe in a picture, you can see them later whenever you need.

The most important thing is that if you have Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive or any cloud service, then you can access these photos on any device.

2) Set a reminder
Do you always forget your friend, sister, boss, aunt, aunt or brother’s birthday, anniversary or any special day? Then setting reminder in mobile is your most important feature. Like an alarm, you can set a reminder in your mobile phone.

Apart from setting reminders in your phone, you can also use Google services. You can also set a reminder about any event in Google Calendar and Google itself will remind you about the event.

3) Write a note
You can also use your phone or tablet as a paperless notepad. For this, you can use a note app like ‘Google Keep’ which is already installed in your phone and write about the things which you want to remember.

You can view these notes anytime like your diary. And you do not even need to delete old notes because you have a smartphone in which storage is hardly a problem. This can be one of the best ways to remember things in your busy life.

4) Email yourself
Yes, you can send email to yourself and your message will not be lost. We ourselves have used this method many times. Even if you send a mail to yourself, you will get the same notification as if someone else sends it. For example, if you have many usernames and passwords, you can create a list and email them yourself. You can access these emails and passwords via mail whenever and wherever you want. You can either keep this mail unread in your inbox or send it to another folder.

People have been using this method for a long time, perhaps even before smartphones existed.

5) Keep a to-do list
Perhaps you need to remember every day what you have to do during the day. But, now there is no need to worry because your smartphone lets you get rid of this too. There are many such apps that will organize your daily work as per your wish. You can prepare a simple and clear list in these apps. Apart from this, you can create tags for each task, apply labels, apply colors and even set background information.
