Apple’s statement
According to the PTI report, Apple has said on this matter, ‘Apple does not hold any specific government-sponsored attacker responsible for the threat notifications.’ The company said that government-sponsored attackers ‘are very strong financially and technologically and their attacks evolve over time.’ “Detecting such attacks depends on threat intelligence signals that are often incomplete and incomplete,” the company said. It is possible that some of Apple’s threat information may be false warnings or some attacks may go undetected.
However, Apple refused to explain why Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra and other leaders received warnings. Apple said, ‘We are unable to provide information about what caused us to issue threat notifications.’ Meanwhile, sources said Apple has sent threat notifications to individuals who have accounts in about 150 countries.
