Apple could Provide iPhone 16 Series Batteries With Stainless Steel Case

American devices maker Apple’s iPhone 16 series may be launched soon. Information about this series has been received through some leaks. This may include iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The battery capacity of these smartphones may be better than the iPhone 15 series introduced last year.

Supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that Apple has prepared to increase the energy density of the battery in the iPhone 16 series. With this, the battery of these smartphones will last longer. In these the battery can be in a stainless steel case. This will also help the company to comply with the European Union’s rule of replaceable batteries in smartphones. Kuo said that stainless steel casing for the iPhone battery will meet safety requirements and provide up to 10 percent more cell density.

Earlier, Kuo had said that the stainless steel casing would make it easier to replace the battery in upcoming iPhones. This will make it easier for Apple to comply with European Union rules. Recently, tipster Instant Digital has claimed in a post on China’s messaging platform Weibo that the size of iPhone 16 Pro will be 149.6 x 71.45 x 8.25 mm and its weight will be about 194 grams. The size of iPhone 15 Pro introduced last year was 146.6 x 70.6 x 8.25 mm and weight was about 187 grams. The size of iPhone 16 Pro Max is likely to be 163.02 x 77.58 x 8.26 mm and weight is likely to be around 225 grams. In comparison, the size of iPhone 15 Pro Max was 159.9 x 76.7 x 8.25 mm and weight was about 221 grams.

This tipster says that the iPhone 16 Pro variants will be slightly larger and heavier and will have less bezels. Another tipster OvO had said that the iPhone 16 Pro Max may have an upgraded 48-megapixel Sony IMX903 main camera and the iPhone 16 Pro may have a 48-megapixel Sony IMX803 camera. Both these smartphones can also be provided with a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera. iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max had a 12-megapixel camera.
