Apple Gets First Rank in Smartphone Sales, iPhone 15 Best Selling Smartphone

Last year, American devices maker Apple’s iPhone 15 has been the best -selling smartphone. Apple has seven models among the best 10 best selling smartphones. The company’s iPhone 16 Pro Max, launched last year, has also received good response from customers.

Apple has retained its first place with the most shipments of smartphones. However, the company’s shipments have come down by about one percent to about 22.59 million units.

South Korea’s smartphone maker Samsung’s Galaxy A15 has been ranked among the highest -selling five smartphones. Samsung’s shipments were reduced by about one percent to about 22.29 million units. The company ranks second in the market of smartphones. China’s smartphone maker Xiaomi ranks third. Xiaomi’s shipments rose by about 15 percent to about 16.86 crore units.

Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro Max ranks second and third in the list of most sold smartphones. Apart from this, the iPhone 16 Pro is the fifth place. However, Apple is facing difficulties in China included in its big markets. For the company, China was once a major source of increase in iPhone sales. For the past few months, the sales of iPhone have been decreasing in this market. The big reason for this is to get a tough competition from Chinese smartphone companies like Huawei. In December last year, the sales of iPhone in China declined by about 12 percent on a year-by-year basis. Lack of new features in iPhones is also a reason behind this. Because of this, Apple has also taken a cautious stand on manufacturing scheme this year. The company plans to launch a new affordable smartphone soon. Some leaks have been reported about it. However, there is speculation about changing the model of this smartphone of Apple. This can be introduced as iPhone 16E instead of iPhone SE 4.
