Apple has given a 13.3-inch LED-backlit IPS display in this MacBook, which was also given in the previous 13-inch model. The resolution of its display panel is 2560×1600 pixels, with a pixel density of 227 ppi and 500 nits brightness. In its base variant, the old 8th generation Intel Core i5 CPU has been used, whose clock speed is 1.4 GHz and boost speed is 3.9 GHz. Along with this, it has 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 256 GB storage. This model features 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports, but this time it comes with Apple Touch Bar standard.
However, some notable changes have been made in its premium variant, whose starting price is $1,799. In this you will get quad-core 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor, whose clock speed will be 2 GHz. The turbo boost speed will be 3.8 GHz. It has 16 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512 GB storage. This RAM can be upgraded up to 32 GB. Apart from this, it will have 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports, while it has the capability of 6K display like Apple Pro Display XDR.
Further, in this MacBook Pro you will get Intel Irish Plus graphics, which is capable of providing 80 percent faster performance compared to the old 13 inch MacBook Pro model. The new graphics will provide 4K video editing and smooth gaming experience, which was also found in the previous version. Apart from this, you will also get the option to connect the new MacBook with Pro Display XDR, in which 6K resolution is available.
The new MacBook Pro 13-inch model will come with the Magic Keyboard, which Apple previously offered with the 16-inch MacBook Pro that was launched in November last year. This is the same keyboard that was featured with the refreshed MacBook Air that launched in March. The new keyboard is an upgraded version of the existing butterfly keyboard and Apple has redesigned the scissor mechanism with 1mm of key travel.
