Apple Prepaering to Launch foldable Smartphone, Company Selecting Main Supplier for its Display

American devices maker Apple plans to launch foldable smartphones. Some leaks about this smartphone have been reported. Sasmung has a major stake in the market of foldable smartphones. In the last few years, many smartphone companies have launched models in this segment.

South Korea Blog Naver Quoted a source of Apple’s supply chain that the main supplier can be fixed soon for this foldable smartphone. Apple can choose a display to meet technical needs for the thickness and strength of this display. Last year, a report by GSMarena reported that a document published on the website of the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) provides information about Apple’s new Hinj design. It is an electronic device associated with the hinge structure. It is bend around an Axis. It has a flexible display divided into two parts. Apple has reported that there are two sets of rotational synchronization gears in the new Hinj Mechanism. Their design is designed to control the way to fold the device.

Recently, Apple updated an old patent. This patent can be for a tri-folded smartphone. The title of this patent filed by USPTO is ‘Electronics devices with display and touch sensor structures’. In this, touch sensor structures were displayed inside the first display, but Apple has increased the scope of this patent by making several changes in it.

Patently Apple has seen this patent. Outer display with large internal display panel has been added to it. This patent also has another display panel with outer display. The new structure of this smartphone is indicating triple fold design. It is similar to Chinese electronics company Huawei’s triple fold smartphone Mate XT, which is hidden in the event of a central layer folded. Its outer display appears in both folds and unfolded conditions. This patent application states that touch sensor structures will be added to each display wall from technology and each display will collect and process touch input separately.
