Asus ZenBook 3, Transformer 3 Pro and Transformer 3 launched, know the price

Asus launched its new laptops and tablets at an event held in Taipei on Monday. The new laptops include ZenBook 3, Transformer 3 Pro and Transformer 3. All three devices run Windows 10. In this event, the company launched three new smartphones of its Zenfone 3 series.

First of all, let’s talk about ZenBook 3 laptop, Asus says that this laptop is thinner than MacBook Air and works faster than MacBook. This laptop has the world’s thinnest 3 mm fan and its screen to body ratio is 82 percent. The ZenBook 3 has a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 panel and the laptop is claimed to have up to 9 hours of battery life. This laptop, which comes with quick charge, is said to be charged up to 60 percent in 49 minutes. This laptop will be available in Royal Blue, Quartz Grey, Rose Gold colors with gold-backlit keyboard.

ZenBook 3 (UX390) has a 12.5 inch display, Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB RAM and 1 TB PCIe x4 SSD. The price of the laptop is $1,999. Its price is $99 in Core i5 variant with 4 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD. The weight of the laptop is 910 grams and thickness is 11.9 mm. A fingerprint reader is also provided in ZenBook 3.

Now let’s talk about Asus Transformer 3 Pro (T303). The company says that this laptop-tablet hybrid is thinner than the Surface Pro 4 and its thickness is 8.35 mm. This laptop has Harman Kardon audio with dual speakers and it is estimated to be four times louder than the Surface Pro 4.

The top model of Asus Transformer 3 Pro has a 12.6-inch (2880×1920 pixels) resolution display. Apart from this, this laptop has Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, up to 1 TB SSD storage, 13 megapixel rear camera, Thunderbolt 3, full size USB 3.0 port, USB 3.0 port and full size HDMI port. This hybrid device will be launched with a mobile hub accessory (Asus Universal Dock) for the second port. Also available is a stylus with a 1,024 press level, a Bluetooth speaker for RW speakers, and an external Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card. The Transformer 3 Pro (with keyboard and stylus pen) starts at $999.

Transformer 3 (T305) was also introduced at this event. The weight of this device is 695 grams and thickness is 6.9 mm. This device has a 12.6-inch screen of (2880×1920 pixels) resolution, with a screen-to-body ratio of 80 percent. Apart from quad speaker support for Harman Kardon audio, it also has a fingerprint reader and Windows Hello biometric authentication support. Along with this, this laptop supports up to Intel Core i7 processor, up to 512 GB SSD and up to 8 GB RAM. This device claims to have 9 hours of battery life. The base model with keyboard dock starts at $799.

Asus also introduced the Transformer Mini (T102) at the Zenevolution event. The company has described it as the world’s lightest two-in-one device. It is equipped with a magnesium-aluminium alloy design and weighs 79 grams with the keyboard. Without keyboard it weighs only 530 grams. The Transformer Mini is 8.2mm thin and has a 10.1-inch display. The company has promised to provide up to 11 hours of battery life in this device. The Transformer Mini has a fingerprint sensor and Windows Hello biometric authentication support.
