Aurora shining on the Earth visible from 400Km above NASA shared the picture

Aurora is a beautiful natural light that appears in the sky. It is usually seen near the North and South Poles at night. Scientists have long believed that auroras form when solar winds interact with Earth’s magnetic field. This happens on other planets also.
Explaining this image, the US Space Agency said that in the picture taken from the International Space Station, the Earth can be seen amidst haze and clouds just below the aurora. Some part of the International Space Station is also visible in the picture.

The International Space Station is a joint project of many countries. America and Russia are also included in this. A team of astronauts is always stationed on the ISS and completes science-related experiments and other tasks. The ISS revolves around the Earth. It shares information about the countries over which it passes.
NASA is preparing to deorbit the ISS by the year 2030. A new space station will be built in its place. However, what will be its deadline is not yet known.
